General Studies
Galveston College offers the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree in General Studies. This transfer curriculum is designed for students that plan to pursue a degree at a senior college or university after completing their studies at Galveston College, but who have not decided upon an area of emphasis or major field of study. Students should identify early the institution to which they intend to transfer to for specific requirements.

The program curriculum has been designed for students who plan to pursue a bachelor’s
degree at a senior college or university after completing their studies at Galveston
College. Upon successful completion of the prescribed courses, the student will be
eligible to graduate from Galveston College and transfer with an Associate of Arts
or Associate of Science Degree.
