The Annual Galveston College Student Art Exhibition featuring Academic and Continuing Education student artworks from ceramics, design, drawing and painting classes will be on display beginning March 27 and run through April 25 at the GC Art Gallery.

The students’ artwork will be on view Monday through Friday during the GC Art Gallery’s normal hours of operation. The GC Art Gallery is located on the third floor of the Fine Arts building. A closing reception will be held on April 25, from 4:30 – 6 p.m., with light snacks and refreshments. The GC Student Art Exhibition and Reception are free and open to the public.

“The Galveston College Annual Student Art Exhibition is a great way to showcase our students’ hard work, creativity and talent,” said GC Art Gallery Curator and Visual Arts Coordinator, Amanda Barry Jones. “I’m always amazed by the artwork our students create and the student art exhibition is a means to learn and experience the exhibit process, network with the art community and share their talent with fellow students, faculty, staff and the community we serve.”
