Galveston College invites prospective students and working professionals to attend
a virtual open house for its Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Healthcare Management
program at 5 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2025.
The online session will provide an overview of the flexible, career-focused degree
designed to prepare students for leadership roles in one of the nation’s fastest-growing
industries. Participants will learn about program highlights, curriculum structure
and the many career pathways available in healthcare management.
Attendees will also gain insight into admission requirements, transfer options, and
professional opportunities available to graduates. A live question-and-answer session
with the BAS in Healthcare Management Program Director, Tirizia York, Ph.D., will
follow the presentation.
“The Bachelor of Applied Science in Healthcare Management program is designed to help
students strengthen their leadership, communication, and operational management skills
in healthcare settings,” said York. “We look forward to sharing how this degree can
help participants achieve their career goals.”
The open house is ideal for individuals who already hold an associate degree, current
