Home School Graduates

Home school graduates are eligible for enrollment at Galveston College. Galveston College defines home school as a school where the parent or guardian has been directly involved in the instructional process.

Graduates from a program which does not meet the above definition of home school may not be eligible for federal financial aid and must be admitted under individual approval.  See the Non-High School/GED page on this website for more information.

 

Admission Requirements and Information:

  1. Completed Application for Admission
  2. Official home school transcript with final grades, date of graduation, and certifying signature of the parent or guardian. Home school transcripts will not be accepted from the student unless in an unopened envelope.
  3. Official TSI 2.0 Assessment, or exemption test scores and documentation.
  4. Proof of the Bacterial Meningitis vaccination (unless the student is 22 years of age or older).

All entering students are required by the State of Texas to have been vaccinated against Bacterial Meningitis. Click here for more information.
