Students to represent Galveston College at the Capitol

Galveston College students met with GC President W. Myles Shelton, Ed.D., to discuss their upcoming trip on Jan. 26 to Austin, where they will represent the college at Community College Day at the Capitol.

GC’s contingent of students will be the voice of the college’s student body and will have the opportunity to meet with Texas legislators during their visit to Austin to discuss issues relevant to GC students and the college.
