The Galveston College Whitecaps baseball 2024 season home opener, originally scheduled for today against Angelina College has been postponed, and the Whitecaps softball tournament, scheduled for today through Jan. 27, has been canceled due to the inclement weather this week.
The Whitecaps baseball home opener has been rescheduled for Jan. 30 at 1 and 3 p.m. against Angelina College at Bernard Davis Field, located at 81st Street and Frank Guisti Drive in Galveston.
GC’s softball team will also play a home-opening doubleheader on Jan. 30, also at 1 and 3 p.m., at the Lassie League Complex, located at 2506 83rd St. in Galveston.
