Galveston College recognized the accomplishments of the Law Enforcement Academy (LEA) Cadet Class #39(N) during a graduation ceremony held June 1, 2026, in the Seibel Wing on the college’s main campus.
Twenty-three cadets completed the academy and were awarded certificates in the presence of family members, friends and representatives from the law enforcement community.
GC Vice President of Instruction, Cissy Matthews, Ed.D., welcomed attendees and presented certificates to the graduates during the ceremony.
Galveston County Sheriff Jimmy Fullen was the ceremony’s keynote speaker, offering guidance and encouragement as the cadets prepare to begin careers in law enforcement and public service.
The LEA Cadet Class #39(N) graduates are: Latoya Aaron, Megan Armacost, Zariah Boxley, Bianca Cardenas, Benett Chacon, Michael DeKlein, Monica Del Rio, Jack Ellison, Ryan Kelemen, Jeramie Martinez, Cole McMahon, Ashley Medina, Stephanie Olivo, Raylynn Ordonez, Kelvin Parish, Hailey Park, Antonio Rios, Madeline Ritchey, Lacy Schlageter, Anthony Smith, DeVontae Steele, Oliver Zarate, Orbit Zarate.
