Resources for Students
Counseling Village is an on line resource that allows to you view virtual pamphlets that provide information on a variety of topics such as:
- Substance Abuse
- Test Anxiety
- Attention Deficit Disorder (disabilities)
- Sexual Harassment and Assault
There are many more topics not listed above that are available to you to use as a virtual resource or you may print a particular pamphlet from the site if you prefer a paper copy. Please take the time to look through the information as it might be helpful to you, a classmate and in some cases family members. After viewing the information on a particular topic and you still have questions or concerns, please feel free to visit the Counseling Center for more information.
Child Care Assistance
Financial assistance is available as funding allows for students who qualify for child care assistance. To qualify for assistance you must be:
- Economically Disadvantaged
- Declared a Vocational/Technical Major
Applications are available in the Counseling Center located in Moody Hall (M-150) or you may download the application, complete and print for submission to the Counseling Center.
Volunteermatch is an organization that helps you find a nonprofit organization that needs you, by matching you with agencies that interest you!
