The Continuing Education Center is a “one-stop” for training and professional development. Galveston College has developed innovative professional development programs and contract training focused around the workplace and designed to meet your training needs. Professional Development

Our Professional Development programs at Galveston College are designed to help employees advance in their careers. Our purpose, is to assist with growing Galveston’s economy, one company, one person, at a time; by providing award winning, industry driven instruction to enhance performance, teamwork and corporate competitiveness. Our programs target entrepreneurs and professionals who have career experience, from administrative support to management.

Customized Training

Choose Galveston College’s Continuing Education for customized workplace training programs with proven results for your bottom line. Our contract training programs can help your staff advance sales, increase customer service, improve processes and provide effective leadership.

Online Training Programs

We offer hundreds of great online courses through our partnerships with several 3rd party vendors —from Creating Web Pages to Accounting Fundamentals,  Speed Spanish to Grant Writing—and everything in between. Classes are affordable, and are offered on a monthly basis, or as your need arises.

Leisure Programs

If lifelong learning is your goal, classes are available for all ages. Art, Yoga, Music, Culture, Recreation, Wellness and Special Topic classes for all interests. If you don’t see what your looking for, please send us and email and let us know what you would like to see offered.

Registration For Classes

Continuing Education registration continues throughout the semester until classes are filled. Registration forms can be found online at www.gc.edu/CEregister Please register at least one week prior to class start date. Tuition and fees must be paid upon registration. Call 409-944-1344 for assistance or more information. Students must complete registration five business days prior to a course starting.
