Player Bios

#1  Hannah Dowdell - Freshman - Spring, TX - Outfield

Hannah Dowdell is a 2014 graduate from Klein Collins High School. She was a four year member of the varsity softball team. Hannah also received 1st Team All-District outfield and 1st Team All-State outfield. She is pursuing a degree in business and marketing and plans to be an entrepreneur in the future. Her supporters are her parents Steven and Tabatha Kelley along with her little sister Emma. 

#4  Tamra White - Freshman - Woodville, TX - Outfield

Tamra is an honors graduate from Woodville High School (class of 2014), member of the Varsity Lady Eagles all four years in high school, freshman starting catcher and 1st Team All-District, sophomore starting short-stop and 1st Team All-District, selected to play in the Southeast Texas Coaches Association All-Star game senior year. Tamra plans to pursue a degree in political science and is supported by her parents Kay Kelly and David Youngblood and sister Cayla. 

#5  Sarah Williams - Freshman - Arlington, TX - Catcher

Sarah Williams attended Mansfield Summit High School and was a varsity starter all four years.  She received 2nd Team All-District her freshman year, 1st Team All-District sophomore, junior and senior years, and Offensive Player of the Year her sophomore year and MVP her senior year.

#6  Brittany Rodriguez - Freshman - Sugar Land, TX - Outfield/Utility

Brittany Rodriguez is a product of St. Pius High School and Cypress Woods High School. During her time at St. Pius Brittany was a two year member of the basketball team, a two year member of the volleyball team, a one year member of the track team and a three year varsity member of the softball team. During her time at Cypress Woods she was a one year member of the varsity softball team. She was awarded the following for softball; 1st Team All-District her freshman through junior years, All-State tournament her sophomore year, and Academic All-District her senior year. Brittany plans on studying General Studies during her time at Galveston, but plans to go to a four year college to get a business degree. Her goal for the year is to be the best student athlete that she can be and always be supportive to her team. She is supported by her parents Maria Ramirez and Frank Rodriguez and brother Chris Ramirez. 

#7  Leslie McClinton - Sophomore - Blanco, TX - Infield/Utility

Leslie McClinton graduated from Blanco High School in 2013.  During her career she was awarded: District Defensive MVP (2 yrs), District MVP (2 yrs), Golden Glove (4 yrs), All-Area San Antonio Sports News (2 yrs), All-Region in softball, basketball and track (2yrs), All-State (basketball, softball, track) and All-State Academic.  Leslie is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology in hoping to become an NFL athletic trainer.  She is supported by her parents Randy and Laura McClinton.

#8  Courtney Fisher - Freshman - Mount Belvieu, TX - First Base 

Courtney Fisher graduated from Barbers Hill High School where they earned three Area Championships and as a senior advanced to the state tournament. Courtney was honored to be 1st Team All-District, KHOU Athlete of the Week, a finalist for the Houston Chronicle Athlete of the Week and was also named to the All Baytown Super Sun Team. She was a member of the National Honor Society throughout high school and received an Academic All-State award. Courtney is looking forward to excelling on the softball field as well as the classroom.

#9  Maitlin Raycroft - Freshman - Spring, TX - Pitcher

Maitlin Raycroft is a 2014 graduate from Klein High School. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois but currently lives in Spring, Texas. She played on the Varsity softball team all four years of her high school career. She received 2012-2014 MVP and Defensive Player of the Year. Maitlin desires to be a neonatal nurse with the help of her parents Suzan and Carl Raycroft along with her siblings Parker, Hogan and Charlie. 

#10  Brooke Anderson - Sophomore - Maple Ridge, BC, Canada - Pitcher

Brooke Anderson is from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. She attended Maple Ridge Secondary School and graduated in 2013 with athletic awards. She played for the White Rock Renegades; 3 time Canadian National Champions, as well as Team BC for Western Canadian Games. During the 2013 Nationals she won both pitching awards for the round robin and playoff rounds.

#11  Tiffany Hinkelman - Freshman - Splendora, TX - Catcher

Tiffany Hinkelman is a 2014 graduate from Splendora High School where she was a four year member of the varsity softball team. She received All-District honors all four years. She was involved in FCA along with National Honor Society. Tiffany will be pursuing a degree in General Studies at Galveston College and her goal for the year is to go to Nationals and be successful on and off the field. She is supported by her parents, Scott and Sophie Hinkelman, and her younger sister Taylor Hinkelman.

#13  Brittany Dworaczyk - Sophomore - Port Lavaca, TX - Infield/Utility
Brittany Dworaczyk graduated from Calhoun High School in 2013.  She received First Team All-District, All-State and MVP of her senior year and was "Newcomer of the Year" her freshman year.  Brittany is getting her degree in General Studies and is pursuing a career as a US Navy officer.  Her goal is to be a better student and athlete and win Nationals.

 #14  Kyla Lockley - Freshman - Wharton, TX - Third Base
Kyla Lockley a graduate of Boling High School class of 2014 (2A), received Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2011. Her sophomore year she was named 1st Team All-District Catcher, junior year she was named 1st Team All-District Third Baseman, and senior year she was named 1st Team All-District Offensive MVP. All four years she also received All-District Academic. She was also a part of the varsity basketball and track teams and received All-District Academic Player her junior and senior years. In basketball she was named 1st Team All-District Defensive Player her senior year. Kyla also received Female Athlete of the Year for her high school (2013-2014). Her goal for this year is to succeed on the field and in the classroom and to pursue a degree in General Studies at Galveston College. 

#15  Brooke Ford - Freshman - Katy, TX - First Base

Brooke Ford graduated from Katy High School as an honor graduate in 2014. She was a member of the Texas Aces Gold Jacoby softball team where she was coached by Kelli Jacoby and Jill Voss. As a member of that team, they qualified for the USA Gold Nationals in Oklahoma City in the summer of 2014. For two years, Brooke also helped coach the Texas Aces 10U team fulfilling her passion for sharing her love and knowledge of the game with up and coming athletes. At Katy High School, not only was Brooke a member of the softball team, she also played volleyball and was a member of the Tiger Marching Band. Brooke is studying General Studies at Galveston while deciding in what field she can make an impact. She has a strong love of children and animals and hopes to pursue a career in helping others. Brooke is strongly supported by her parents, Debbie and Kelvin Russell of Katy, and Trent Ford of Tyler as well as her siblings, Baylee and Hayden.

#19  Alexa Solomon - Sophomore - Winnipeg, Canada - Outfield

Alexa Solomon graduated in 2013 from Dakota Collegiate Institute in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  She has been playing softball for 11 years and has played with the Smitty's Terminators for the last four years.  She and her team earned Gold medals at the Provincial Championships for the last 4 years, a bronze medal at the 2001 Canadian Fast Pitch Championships.  She also represented her province in the 2011 Western Canadian Championships earning a silver medal.  Alexa's goal this season is to play the game she is passionate about and to help the Whitecaps win the Regional and NJCAA National Championship.  Alexa is studying Kinesiology and Education in hopes of becoming a physical education teacher.  Alexa is the daughter of Roman and Maureen Solomon and sister to Mykaila.

#21  Jayci Ringo - Freshman - Sweeny, TX - Third Base

Jayci graduated from Sweeny High School in 2014 where she played volleyball her freshman and sophomore years and softball all four years. Jayci started for JV her freshman year and played in playoffs and the state tournament on varsity that year. She started for varsity her sophomore through senior years where she played shortstop. All four years of high school Jayci was awarded The Academic Achievement Award. She was also awarded 2nd Team All-District infield her sophomore and junior years, golden glove and 1st Team All-District infield her senior year. Her parents are Trot and Christa Ringo.

 #23  Mariah Garcia - Freshman - Austin, TX - Shortstop
Mariah Garcia graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and also played for the Texas Bombers Gold 18U. Mariah was a four year varsity softball player and a three year varsity basketball player. She was awarded with the following: 2010-2011 Newcomer of the Year for softball; 2012-2013 All-District 15-5A in softball; 2013-2014 All-District shortstop; 2013-2014 MVP for the Austin High softball team and 2013-2014 All-Star District MVP in softball and 2013-2014 All-Star MVP. Mariah was selected to the 2013-2014 All-Star team and was the only player to hit a home run during the game.
