The Medical Billing Specialist Certificate is designed to prepare students to work in the medical billing departments in a variety of health care settings including hospitals, medical clinics, and doctors’ office. Billing Specialist’s are responsible for collecting, posting, managing account payments, submitting claims and following up with insurance companies. Students can complete the certificate in two or three semesters. High School Diploma or GED required. Textbooks are required.  

* Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology must be completed before enrolling in the Medical Insurance courses. 

All classes may not be offered each semester.
