Galveston College’s Industrial and Applied Technology Division offers a wide array of programs specific to industry-leading careers. Depending on your educational and career goals, Galveston College offers programs which enable students to attain certificates of completion and/or a two year Associates Degree in Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Electrical & Electronics, Law Enforcement, Culinary Arts, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Coding, Medical Office Administrator, and Welding.
It is Galveston College’s mission to provide students with a superior career and technical education that prepares our graduates for the Workforce. Our programs are designed in a Lecture and Lab format to ensure our students receive a well-rounded educational experience. All of our classrooms are equipped with smart classroom technology, independent student work stations, and software programs necessitated for an enhanced learning environment. Our labs are furnished with state-of-art simulators, as well as functional industry-related instruments, technologies and machinery, which provide students with hands-on applications and techniques as used in 21st century occupations.
Galveston College’s Industrial and Applied Technology Division serve many students who vary in age, backgrounds, and interests with a wide range of career and educational goals.
