Students can apply to become a participant in Building Bridges to Success (BBS) at any point during their enrollment at Galveston College. Students that are currently enrolled in an advanced program (Nursing, Allied Health, etc) are not be eligible to apply to BBS. Participation in the program is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If space is available in the program and a student is determined to be eligible to participate, they will be admitted into the BBS program following the completion of orientation and additional forms. Any students that are interested in participating in BBS should complete an application and forward it to room R-286.
Once accepted in the Galveston College BBS program, students will be expected to regularly communicate with the BBS staff. It is necessary for students to participate in the BBS program to fully benefit from the services and support provided by staff. After a student has been accepted to BBS, a Contract of Commitment will need to be completed.
