Kid’s College Starts Today at Galveston College
Galveston College is offering Kid’s College Camps and Classes during two sessions in June and July of 2006. Session I is from June 5 through June 22. Session II is July 10 through July 27. Classes meet on Monday and Wednesday at a cost of $45.00 per class. Camps meet on Tuesday and Thursday at a cost of $165.00 per camp. Registration is encouraged by June 3, 2006.
Camps run from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Camps are being offered for Soccer, Basketball, Art, Weird Science and Cheerleading. Classes include Fun Art, Kids and Computers, Scrapbook Memories, Art Under Construction, Invisible Science, Creative Writing, Si Habla Esponol I and II, Beginning Piano, Lyrical Ballet, Dance jazz and Ballet, Chess Champs, Fashion Modeling, First Aid for Kids, Horticulture, Kickboxing and more. Summer Session II Starts July 11
Galveston College’s second summer session begins Tuesday, July 11, 2006. Open registration is planned for July 6 and July 10 from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Summer Session II offers credit courses in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Drama, Economics, English, German, Government, History, Humanities, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology, Reading and Vocational Nursing. College Summer Hours
Galveston College’s office hours for summer are Mondays through Thursdays 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. with the College closed Friday through Sunday. Normal office hours resume the week of August 14, 2006.
