Galveston College Students Celebrate National Surgical Technology Week

National Surgical Technology Week is September 19-25. The Galveston College Surgical Technology Program class of 2010-2011 will host an open house and Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Galveston College campus at 4015 Avenue Q. The open house will be held in the Allied Health hallway and in  Northen Hall rooms 225 and 226. The Blood Coach will be located near the Student Center Seibel Wing on Avenue Q 1/2.

Surgical Technology students are also collecting stuffed animals for the Galveston Police Department and Shriners Hospital.  Individuals that would like to help with stuffed animal donations can drop off their items in the Allied Health suite on the second floor of Northen Hall.
