GALVESTON COLLEGE OFFERS NEW PROGRAM IN
RESPIRATORY CARE

Galveston College has partnered with the University of Texas Medical Branch to offer a degree in Respiratory Care. This innovative program offers a unique opportunity for students interested in a respiratory care career to enroll in introductory courses at Galveston College. Respiratory care is uniquely suited for students interested in direct patient care since it allows them to treat patients from all age groups while rotating through different patient care units within hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and rehabilitation facilities.

Accepted students will attend Galveston College where they will complete the requirements for an associate of arts degree. They will then enter the baccalaureate respiratory care program at the UTMB School of Allied Health Sciences. Students may be eligible for a work/school program and scholarships once they move to UTMB

For more information contact Jameeka Williams, Allied Health Advisor, at 409-944-1252.
