Galveston College Chorale Performs Christmas Concert

The Galveston College Community Chorale will hold its annual Christmas concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 15 at Moody Methodist Church located at 2803 53rd Street in Galveston. The performance will consist of familiar Christmas favorites - "Angles We Have Heard on High", "Go Tell It on the Mountain", "Winter Wonderland", "Sleigh Ride" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." The Galveston College Chorale is directed by Mike Gilbert.  The general public is invited to attend.

Intro to Humanities Joins Winter Mini Term Classes

An Introduction to the Humanities internet class has been added to the Winter Mini term. The course will be directed by Michael Berberich.

The Winter Mini semester begins December 16, 2013 and ends January 10, 2014. Early registration for the Winter Mini Semester continues Monday, December 9th through Friday, December 13th.  Student Services office hours during registration are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Payment for Early Registration must be made by noon on December 13, 2013 in order to avoid being dropped for non-payment.

Winter Mini Semester internet classes include: Introductory Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, English Composition II, College Algebra, Introduction to Ethics, Texas Government, and College Physics I. College Physics I includes a face-to-face lab that will meet during the final week of January 6 to January 9, 2014. Students must contact their instructors by the first class day. Spring Semester 2013 Registration

Early registration for the 2014 Spring Semester continues until December 13. Student Services office hours during Early Registration are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays. Payment for Early Registration must be made by noon on December 13, 2013 in order to avoid being dropped for non-payment.

General Registration begins January 11 and continues January 13 through January 15. General Registration hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 11 and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, January 13 through Wednesday, January 15. Spring semester classes begin January 21, 2014. The Spring Credit Class Schedule is now available online and in printed versions throughout the campus. For more information, call 409-944-1220.
