Galveston College Foundation’s Rob Brasier Memorial Award was recently presented to the Whitecaps Baseball player who claimed the highest grade point average on the team in spring 2013. The Galveston College Chorale, directed by Mike Gilbert, will perform on Sunday May 5, 2013 at Sacred Heart Church at 2:00 p.m. Sacred Heart Church is located at the corner of 14th and Broadway in Galveston. The event is free and open to the public. The performance will be comprised of primarily American composers.
Galveston College’s 46th annual commencement exercise is scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Galveston Island Convention Center on the San Luis resort at 5600 Seawall Boulevard.
A record 503 graduates are receiving some five hundred and thirty two Associate Degrees and Certificates. Families, friends and colleagues are invited to attend the event.
The GED® Test is now being offered on online at Galveston College!
Galveston College is offering the 2002 Series GED Test on computer. We are currently the only online center in the area so act quickly.
Moving the current 2002 Series GED® Test to a computer delivery model prepares the program and adult learners today for the new assessment coming out January 2, 2014. To register for the Computer Base GED, simply go to http://www.gedtestingservice.com/ged-testing-service and create an account for online registration.
The computer based GED 2002 Series is only available to first time testers at this It is offered in both English and Spanish. Benefits of offering GED Test on computer include:
