Minority Studies Speaker on Native American Culture

On Friday, October 19, 2012, at 9 a.m. in Room FA-207, Mr. Ron Smith will be presenting a program on traditions, symbols and culture of Native Americans. Students and staff of Galveston College are welcome to attend the cultural event. Mr. Smith, a Plains Indian, will provide information on the significance of the POW WOW to Native American culture with a display of Native American artifacts, drums and skins.
